In Year 3 (or older in some cases), each child will have the opportunity to complete the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion for the first time.

The Sacramental Programme allows baptised children to make their own commitment to God and continue on their spiritual journeys and complete their journey into full membership of the Catholic Church.

The programme itself strives to help children grow into this community, and feel a real sense of belonging to the wider family of God.

The Sacramental Programme runs parallel with the Year 3 RE syllabus in Catholic schools within Salford Diocese. Whilst most of the children who attend our programme will be in our Year 3 class at SS Osmund & Andrew's, we do also welcome children from older year groups and those from different schools within the Parish of The Blessed Dominic Barberi.
