SEND
At SS Osmund & Andrew's we believe that all children have unique, God-given talents which should be nurtured. All children are given access to a broad and balanced curriculum, which is differentiated to enable them to reach their full potential. Regardless of their special educational needs and disabilities, children are encouraged to take risks to develop their self-worth and resilience and are valued for their individual contributions. Through Quality First Teaching, we make reasonable adjustments to allow all of our children and their families to participate fully in the life of our school. Intervention to address specific needs takes place in small groups or one- to- one and provision is frequently reviewed to ensure progress.
As a whole school, we are committed to giving all children in our care the best possible school experience and we look forward to working with you to support your child.
If you have any queries about SEND, in the first instance, please speak to your child’s class teacher. They will create a cause for concern for your child.
