Collective Worship
Whole School Worship
Each Monday and Friday, our Headteacher leads whole school worship, which follows the themes of the Liturgical Year, significant dates and the curriculum using Ten Ten resources. Parents of pupils who are receiving reward certificates are invited to join us in our Monday assembly. Every Thursday, pupils also gather together for Key Stage assemblies.
Our Collective Worship Annual Plan of Provision can be found here.
Class Prayer and Liturgy
Once a week, pupils take part in class prayer and liturgy. Pupils are involved in delivering this to their classes.
Our Prayers
At the start of each day, and at the beginning of all our whole school assemblies, we say our morning prayer:
Oh my God you love me,
you're with me night and day,
I want to love you always,
In all I do and say,
I'll try to please you Father,
Bless me through the day.
Amen.
Before we eat our dinner, we say our lunch prayer:
God is great and God is good,
And we thank Him for our food,
By God's hand we must be fed,
Give us Lord our daily bread.
Amen
After dinner, we say our after-lunch prayer
This is our school,
Let it be full of love,
Love for one another,
Love for life itself,
But most of all,
The love of Jesus Christ,
Our Lord
Amen
At the end of the school day, we say our home time prayer:
God our Father I have come to say,
Thank you for your love today,
Thank you for my family,
And all the friends you give to me,
Guard me in the dark of night,
And in the morning send your light.
Amen
